Pyaasi Video

In 2010, The Gibson Foundation supported the creation of a video by the Indian rock band, Swarathma. The video, entitled "Pyaasi" which translates to "thirsty" was recently named one of Indian Rock MP3's top music videos of 2010. Indian Rock MP3, the leading blog covering India's rock music scene, calls it "easily one of the best music videos to come from India this decade." The video was sponsored by the Gibson Foundation and Deloitte in partnership with the Global Water Challenge (GWC). Extensively shot in Rajasthan, the video highlights the global water crisis and a young girl's search for water in India. According to Indian Rock MP3, this video is among its top picks of 2010 due to its simple concept and brilliant execution.
